I love building real solutions to real problems. Programming is the greatest canvas we've had to allow people to do this. With code we can build anything. But with the immense power comes the inevitable risk of creating useless tools. I thrive in facing this challenge. The challenge of addressing real problems with functional, usable, and flexible solutions.

I am constantly learning about the newest and wildest new reaches of my field. I want to be challenged by the technicality of my work, engaged by the mission, and surrounded by an enriching environment. I thrive in taking on responsibility and handling pressure.

    Trucker Tools

    April 2017 - Present

    Worked in a globally distributed team to create new web applicationsand improve existing applications.

    • Designed database architectures and backend APIs to optimize scalability and adaptability of new applications
    • Led and developed creation of a truck load management application used to manage and track ~2.5k loads per month
    • Team lead in developing web application used by top US brokers to find drivers for loads. Ecosystem used in production by 10s of thousands of active users.
    • Developed email reading technology to automate data gathering of trucker locations
    • Promoted twice in two years
    • Assisted in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new hires

    Building useful and usable tools for small business and individuals.

    • Co-founded ​Oink​. A Google Sheets add-on that allows users to sync bank transactions to Google Sheets. ​myoink.com
